Flat Top Mountain
Rocky Mountain National Park, COlorado, 12,324 ft
Rocky Mountain National Park is one of the most beautiful national parks in the country and if you hit the season during the Elk rut in October, you will see some of the most magnificent creatures at their best. Flat Top Mountain ascends to the Continental Divide and yes the summit is flat. In the pics below you can see Longs Peak in the background and Hallet Peak in the foreground. We completed Flat Top Mountain in October 2014.
