Mt. Washington

New hampshire, 6,288 FT

Home to the "world's worst weather" and on the list as one of the "Ten Most Dangerous Hikes" Mt. Washington is one of the must do hikes for mountaineers.  I've been up the mountain twice.  First time up Tuckerman's Ravine with my uncle, cousin and sister.  The second time, my uncle and I climbed Mt. Washington via the Huntington Ravine route and then traversed to several other presidential peaks in a two day peak bagging sprint.  One of my favorite mountains because of the alpine environment so low in elevation, Mt. Washington is a great place to start a mountaineer passion.
